Hey great raptor gods of helifreak......are there any fiberglass or any other compatable canopies for the raptor 30.......you guys know i like to paint my own, havent got my raptor in the air yet....but i was thinking of a custom canopy.....( if im going to crash her im going to crash in style!)......i would like to find a fiberglass, and or a wihte 1....
if i have to use the plastic 1 i will first give it the plasti dip Mod, that im known for before i paint......

do you have to mod them or will they just fit......and the raptor has that cool bottom latch to hold it.....do you just add that to trex canopies

I think the V2 canopy looks better than the rex cano when it has a custom paint job.
600n canopy is too long and needs mods, 600e cano is the go if you decide to go that way!

It's all about personal preference I guess .... well that, and when I looked at a plain grass V2 canopy off my LHS/national dealer, the pricing was almost enough to have me falling off my chair!
I use the Trex nitro canopies, it fits good, is a little long perhaps, but I like that point, makes the ol' bird look sleeker by default.

That said, I do still really like the V2 lines (X50's lines are SWEEEEET), but I have gotten used to seeing my existing canopies, and as a result, find it looks wrong with anything else but them on it.
