Hi everybody,

I have seen a lot of cool fpv on YouTube and was interested in getting into the hobby. I know there has been some FAA action on FPV and I'm wondering if posting fpv on YouTube and getting paid for views or ads in the video is legal or not?

If you get paid for it it is illegal. Thats about the only thing anyone can tell anymore from all the rules. I could post up all kinds of pages and links and references but in the end getting paid for it makes it illegal.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. You as a person getting paid for it is illegal. How YouTube manages to get away with half the stuff posted on their Ill never fully understand.
