Default Align Trex 450 Pro V2 --- No throttle response

Hoping the Freaks can help me out - I must be missing something basic.

I'm setting up a Trex 450 pro, v2 with dfc head & AR7200bx, YGE esc, DX8 radio

Set up ar7200bx (A-N) – no problem
set up parameters menu also no problem

Everything is working fine except no throttle response, even though when I look at the monitor screen on the dx8, it shows positive response (needle moves).

Things I’ve tried;
Made sure esc is plugged in correctly
Re-bound after receiver set up
Re-bound after parameter menu set up
Substituted motor I know works
Re-bound w. new motor

I’m about to swap out the esc, but I thought maybe one of you had this same problem. Could it be related to the esc & end point calibration? If so, anyone with experience with a YGE esc?

Thanks Freaks!

Do you have the ESC instructions? Some need to boot first-time with the throttle full on to learn to throttle curve. Make sure servo reversing is set correctly.

I don't have the esc instructions, but I'm on the hunt for them now - must be online somewhere.

And yes, I did check & throttle is not reversed.

I have had very similar issues in the past with a castle esc. I calibrated the esc with my DX9 and the problem was fixed. I would down load the esc instructions and check know that.

Just as long as you remember to rebind with low throttle...

AR7200bx have a fail safe, that's why you cant program the esc "just like that", it wont bind until throttle is low. If you reverse and bind in full throttle you can avoid fail safe, allowing you to calibrate esc...

If you want to program the esc with the transmitter, that is the easiest way to do it, remove blades, re-bind with high stick, program esc, re-bind with low stick...

I'm not sure its terrible unsafe on YGE, but I know that it isn't the least funny on a Koby if the esc arms with reversed throttle, the second it starts, its no way to turn it off...
