Default Silly Gyro servo ???

Ok, this may sound odd, but here goes any way,. I'm just now getting the hand on all there is to know on this B400 & DXi I have noticed that the stock EFlite gyro is set on STD, now I find that odd because the servo is a EFlite DS75H and from I know that is a digital servo, so why isn't the setting on the gyro on Digital? that and whats the differenace? what will happen if I change it? I read once in a while there's something going on here with servos not being set up to work with Gyros.

Reason I ask is, I've noticed that my tail servo does not return back to center by it's self once you make a move to the left, I just thumb it back, it does re center when I move right. So this got me looking into maybe it's a freaked out servo, Nope, a new one does the same thing, so now I'm looking into the gyro and what not. is this a sign the Eflite gyro is going the way side? can changing the gain, what ever that is? fix this? Why do folks jump so fast to the 401 and the like? if from what I have read and experince that the stock set up works fairly well. I'm a fan of the 401 and have it in mind to change if & when makes it so. But also know if it ain't broke no need to fix it. But..?? So if anyone here can enlighjhten me on this whole gyro tail servo thing, I'm all ears.

Some servos can take a higher than normal frame rate, on that helicopter it won't make any difference so don't worry about digital servo mode.

The other thing is normal, in heading hold its waiting for the helicopter to do what its told, since its sitting on the table the helicopter doesn't move and the gyro hold the pitch, patiently waiting for the heli to turn. Pick up the tail and move it, you will see the servo return to center, infact, it will apply pitch the other way if you go to far.

The stock servo is digital but cannot handle the higher frame rate the gyro will put out if set to digital mode. You will burn out the stock servo if you switch the gyro to the digital setting

+1. If you put the gyro in rate mode then the servo will center.
