So will there an upgrade kit for current TDR owners to the TDR II?
Thanks, John

Missed this thread here somehow. Was to exited about the TDR-II apparently
I'm on the list too. Just for the TDR-II Somewhere number 150 though Jan told me definetly not to expect delivery before end of 2014.............. PS: As I understood his presentation vids the TDR-II will have the same inner as the TDS. Meaning linear servos as well

What battery capacity is on that 6kg TDR? Also higher C rated batteries weigh more. A typical 30C 5000mAh 6S is around 900g so if you have two that's 1.8kg and a RX pack which added to the 4kg it comes out to about 6kg AUW. |

Who's on the list
TDS is planned at the moment with 7S 4500 Gens Ace packs.
My TDR is at 5.2kg with a few grams of Equipment I dont really need and 12S 5000 mylipos. I estimate the TDR-2 at around 5,5-6 kg depending on Battery and electronics. With lighter Motor and ESC than Pyro 750 and Kosmik you might end up at 5,2-5,5. but thats just guessing, time will tell. Jan only mentioned, that the TDR-2 will not be a lot heavier than the TDR. Thats all we know for now, since its also just guesstimate by Jan. Bit he has enough experience to guess simething like that and to make parts lighter if needed. |

I've already got a lightweight TDR @ 4.8 kg with 60C 4400mah packs. That's with Jive 120, Pyro 700-52 and it feels great at that weight and has nice long flight times.
I don't see the point in trying to configure a TDR-II like that. The TDR-II has a drivetrain that is begging for power.

Hey guys,
Got a little more info from Jan about the TDR-II: There are gonna be probably two options: 1) canopy & skids (yesssss!!) similar to the current TDR 2) a "speed version light" with appropriate airodynamic canopy No idea if both versions are easily interchangeable. I reckon its gonna be a couple of parts that may be changed to get to the other version Soko

Joined the TDR II camp. Been wanting a TDR for awhile so I'll jump in feet first to the II.
