Tail problems
After weeks of chasing a tail problem, reading every thread on the subject, I downgraded to the plastic grips.
Tomorrow I'll see if I finally found the elusive problem. I know it's been said before, but................. Shouldn't an upgrade make our helis fly better? NOT worse? If it was the metal grips, I'm going to get some of the chinese weights everybodys been talking about.

I was in your shoes. I had the microheli junk tail grip set up, i had a shuddering tail. not a wag but a bad shudder. I put the stock plastic set up on and heli flies perfect.
funny guy at the local field has the same set up and his shuddered from the start and he could not fly with the microheli upgrade. mine lasted a year before it would not fly. weird thing is the hub is not bent, the grip bearings are tight and there are no signs of wear or damage but it wont fly. oh you will get no support from microheli either they wont even return your email if your nice about it

sounds very familiar. My 500 is brand new, a ESP model that has been very flakey from day one.
Very frustrating when a brand new machine with all the bells and whistles won't fly right.
