Default Quark not holding, tail drifting to the right.

Hello.

I have a quark (gold metal case) (mounted with 3mm, metal plate, 1mm, gyro) on a Clone Trex 450 Pro (EXI), with a Power HD3866HB tail servo, CC ICE Lite 50 ESC (5v BEC setting), 6100E (V1.6) receiver, HS65MG cyclic, Turnigy 2836 3700kv motor.

I am using the gear channel for gain. I am at about 73.

The gyro seems to loose it's settings or holding ability sometimes, even when I check and see the solid blue light.

Previously the tail would slowly drift to the right (nose left), and I could hold it steady with left stick. The blue light was on and I let the gyro initialize first before taking off.

I last night it seemed as if it didn't have enough left tail available so I repositioned my servo wheel to compensate and re-setup the gyro. It flew GREAT last night! It was getting dark, but it was an awesome flight.

Today take off, then the left tail thing again, so I hold it, then bam start to loose control, then hit throttle hold, and some what of an auto (more of a controlled crash, no damage).

Some weird interaction? I have faith in the gyro, but I am not sure what I could have screwed up?

I have the SLX adaptor, but I really didn't want to take the heli apart to add an extension for the gyro.

Suggestions?

Ok, well before anyone wastes their time on this.

The slider bushing has unscrewed it's self from the tail pitch slider.

As I look it seems this is a recurring problem with the align parts.

Had I left the clone tail on the bird, it might have been fine, buy I had to go and spend money and a better quality part etc.

Ok, well at least it's NOT the gyro.
