Default Lipos for motor starter

I have a starter that I use to start my Raptor 50. At the moment I am running it off a Lead acid battery which is getting a bit old and cannot turn the motor over very well. I have a couple of 2200mah 3s 20-30c lipos sitting around. They are both the same type, brand and age. Could I use these to power my starter?

Perhaps if I parallel them up? If I parallel them up the voltage will stay the same but the discharge rate will double and so will capacity, is that correct?

Do you think that they will be able to provide sufficient current?

I use a 3s4000 mAHr pack for this application.

Why not just solder a male power connector (that matches your battery connector) onto the starter and try.

At first see if a single pack will work. But if you need two, putting them in parallel like you mentioned will give you something like my setup. I have used it for starting an OS 52 4 stroke with no problems. I did this after my pb-acid pooped out on me.

I have a Sullivan starter which is getting on 20 years, the standard high torque starter, not the Dynatron, I use this for starting my Synergy and 600n, 600n is quite happy with a single 2200-3s pack, the 90 however needs 2 in series to turn it over. I know the starter is rated at 12 volts but so far it has handled pretty well.
