If it's too heavy, might try some bamboo skewers.

If you can, check balance so you can holt the heli by the "button" (round thing on the head) or top of the head with the battery in it and it sits level. On a 120, there is no "computer" checking the "0's and 1's" to keep it level or where you want it... So out of balance ain't gonna be pretty.

+1000 on the Bamboo Skewer or any small dowel... Closer to the same weight as possible.

Ok.. The bamboo skewer works great. here are pics. Don't laugh, this little thing has crashed alot so she is not as pretty as she used to be.. But if someone needs to fly while waiting on a tail boom, this works great....

With a flybarless controller. It's sort of like having a tail gyro on your cyclics It's a box that goes between the receiver and the servos and has a microprocessor and a 3 axis angle sensor chip in it. It also handles the tail control as well.

The first electronically stabilized flybarless helicopters were DIY setups where they would put a tail gyro on the elevator and aileron servos on the head with the two gyros oriented in the plane of the elevator and aileron axis. This was in the days of mechanically mixed CP helicopters which used a bunch of links and levers to perform cyclic and collective pitch mixing and elevator, aileron and pitch was each controlled by a separate servo rather than all three working together to move the swashplate.

Default This is getting expensive!!!

Man, I got all those parts: Awesome looking red 120!!!! Took wife down to park!!! Told her as I fired up the 120, "only thing that can happen would be the main motor go out" S*&T!!!!!! Should have kept my mouth shut... Took it home found one of the motor wires came off, soldered it back on, took it out back, motor quit again, slammed into a wall and busted up the wing holders pins that the connection bucklers hook too, and the flybar pins that the buckles hook too. Man!!! This sucks!!!! So gonna have to order another motor, flybar, wing connectors, connection bucklers, and a tail fin!!! This hobby can get expensive when one is not a pro flyer!!!!
