Default Motor shaft for Fusion 50 - question for outrage?

I start getting concerned I might have the wrong motor shaft. I have a regular length 6 mm shaft. I know since a few days that the 5 mm pinion support and pinions will be shipped with the kit.
What I cannot find out is if a long shaft or regular shaft is needed. Looked at the videos and pictures. None shows the information. Also looked at the specs and that does not tell. I am just concerned that the regular shaft length is not long enough.

Any decent answer maybe even from Outrage itself would be appreciated.
I send a few requests on outragerc website a few weeks ago but never received any answer. Maybe it better works on the forum.

Hi

To use the pinion support, you require at least 30mm of motor shaft beyond the motor case.

I am not sure which make of motor you plan to use but, for example, the standard shaft on a Scorpion 4025 series motor fits this criteria.

Hope this helps

thanks - I have to check this. I plan to use the Xera 4025-560 3Y. I will check the length.

Looks like I do not have the 30 mm shaft length. Even the Scorpion HK-4025 series seems to have some models with about 25 mm shaft legth (checked several web sites where I see overall shaft length a bit over 70 mm and motor itself a bit over 50 mm).
That seems to be odd since Scorpions website says different.
So if I have a shorter shaft does that only mean I cannot use the pinion support and is that even doable?
