Amazing! Here's a rough idea what it would look like 'de-chromed' (sry my photoshop skills are pretty limited!)

Thanks for what you did with the photo. I am leaning towards painting the landing lights just on the outside black as you have shown. Not positive yet but it looks nicer to me even though the landing struts are aluminum but they will be up most of the time I hope! I almost have an itch to sand the entire gloss paint with 2000 and 2500 grit sandpaper and rub it with white polishing compound as the paint is a bit to glossy in my opinion but man that would be a ton of work.
