Default Hobbywing 100A Platinum - Throttle End Point Calibration Issue

Hello,

I have the older version of the HW 60A right before the v3's and a GE-100 that came with the Gaui X5.

I very proficient with setup and have done it before in the past. This is the problem I'm having:
I can not calibrate both ESC to TX.
I go to high position
Get the long musical tone
but i don't get the 2 beeps, just starts cycling through the menu.
When i pull the throttle down to lowest position, nothing happens.

If if drop the low end points on my TX (to -13), than the ESC will arm and works as usual. I would like to use 0 - 100 end points.

Both ESC works fine with program box

Had to be the one I'm most unfamiliar with lol. If you haven't tried already, go to low stick before the programming tones. Unfortunately, I've flown HW since inception of the PP series and have an older 40am park fly. But I'll do my best to help if I can

Default Hobbywing 100A Platinum - Throttle End Point Calibration Issue

First calibrate your throttle per instructions for the AR7100.....
After that it may be the same procedure as if you have a Spektrum BeastX FBL, you have to calibrate the ESC a certain way.... The Spektrum WILL NOT arm at high stick due to a safety feature built into the FBL... You need to calibrate it like you would with a Castle ESC by using a jumper wire that eliminates the BEC (BOTH red wires from ESC) AND a receiver battery to "arm the AR7100rx first at low stick", then go high stick and plug in the flight pack WITH ONLY the signal wire from the ESC to get it into calibration mode.... Here is a video that will work... Notice you must arm the FBL first, then use a jumper wire (signal only) to allow the FBL to output the "high signal" at high stick to allow the ESC to get into calibration mode ...... Then calibration will work... This concept is for ANY ESC that needs "high stick" to calibrate endpoints when using a Spektrum FBL.... So even though this is a video for a Castle ESC, THE CONCEPT IS THE SAME... Pretend he is saying HobbyWing.... LOL👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 .... The only thing you will not do is the step with the tx.... Keep the throttle endpoints at 100/100....

So to summarize you need to:
- unplug all HobbyWing ESC wires from FBL
- make a little jumper cable that allows ONLY the throttle signal (white wire) from the ESC to the FBL and plug it in to the "throttle" on FBL
- power up the Spektrum with a SEPARATE rx pack at low stick to get it to initialize
- move to high stick and the plug in flight pack (NO BEC WIRES) should be connected from the ESC to the FBL as the rx battery is supplying power to the FBL
- do throttle calibration
- unplug everything and re-wire it up like it normally goes (remove jumper wire and plug in both cables from ESC to FBL like normal)
- set ESC to RPM Store in
- go outside and do RPM Standardization using 50% flat throttle curve procedure
- you're ready to go

Looks like I'm not having a problem
- getting to high stick
and
- getting into program mode

The problem I'm having is getting the ESC to recognize the low stick input.

I tried the method suggested and it's not working

I did take my YGE 120HV and tried it with the AR7100
YGE will recognize the high stick
YGE will recognize the low stick
YGE will calibrate throttle

I tried take my Kontronik Jive 100LV and tried it with the AR7100
Jive 100LV will recognize low stick
Jive 100LV will recognize high stick
Jive will calibrate throttle

Do I have two bad HW ESC's?
If I did the travel adjustment, it will work but I haven't had a chance to see high is really 100%. Was hoping to see if anyone else had this problem.
