Default Tail servo not responding.... Really hot

I was having trouble getting the heli to stop spinning ccw- so I swapped out the tIl servo with new ones I bought from heli direct or xheli.

I dropped it in, put the arm back on and now it doesn't respond. It just gets hot. The heli spins woorse since the rudder blades are just spinning and not being angled.

Any ideas what I did wrong?

Thanks

did you power the servo up and let it center before you placed the arm back on?

bout the only thing to check is make sure you didn't accidentally plug it in backwards...

i have heard of people getting bad replacement servos so if the plug is correct perhaps they sent you a bad one...you could try plugging it in to a different channel to see if it works ...

I did put it in another channel to make sure it wasn't the Rx. I did center it also prior to putting the arm on.

Not saying I had that problem, but one of my servos stopped working. I opened it up to find one of the wires came un-soldered from the board. I soldered it back up and it works fine.
One thing I did notice, is the solder work in these servos is VERY poor, while I had it apart I did find stray strands of wire poking out of the ends of some of the wires where they connect to the board and motor.
Perhaps you may have a loose wire or solder bridging in your servo.
Open it up and take a good look at it with a magnifier.
