Wow all I can say this is a piece of junk. Align have really made the ball drop, hopefully the mcpx will make me happy again.

I am finding that I have to always take off from holding it in my hand as if i try and take off from the ground the heli will tip over to the right, due to Align's correction feature. You can see it working when the throttle is applied the servo will give more right throw than needed as you apply more throttle then it goes back to normal.

AND I am not sure if its just me but the tail does not seem very good, sounds like it is stopping and starting like it can't keep up

i agree with all that you said the tail seems really twitchy but i have noticed a little improvement in the tail after about four charge cycles of battery going through.
but all i can say is that I'm not impressed either

What would be great would be to have comparisons to same-class heli's like the MSR or Solo-pro based on first hand accounts. This particular class of heli's is generally unimpressive to begin with especially when coming from larger and more powerful CP birds. It would be unfair to compare quality and performance to CP heli's.

That said, it is disappointing to read about the tail problems. You'd think Align would sort these things out before launch. Makes you feel like they rushed to market at the expense of it's customers which is

I like my MSR 100 times better than the Trex100 I had and have since sold. It flew more like a coaxial than a FP. It flew OK, but was just not to my liking. Maybe Align will come out with an updated version after seeing more negative than positive feedback on these forums!?

Try more throttle on take off. Due to the correction, if you ease it up slowly, it will tip. Just a little more throttle and it will lift off easy My tail is a little twitchy too.
