Unhappy Brushless tail died

I had a small aeronautical miscalculation and my gnat (4#3b) ended upon the floor. Picked it up as I have many times before but the brushless tail motor was ng.

I've checked everything over and even tested the ESC with another one but nada...

It turns by hand and wants to run when I give it stick input..

Any ideas?

They are quite fragile and you are not the first to need to buy your second tail motor. Make sure it is a 2.9... that seems to be everyone's fav.

Hi Mike,

Sounds like one of the 3 sets of wires has broken, sorta tries to start but doesn't quite make it?.

if you've got the walkera brushless then its toast i'm afraid, as steve said get a 2.9g HP03 or even better the HP02(its lighter) i got mine from terrence of chinese jade but WOW in the states sell them as well. Unlike the walkera they have proper bearings also they are easy to rewind, so if a wire breaks your grounded for about an hour. Look it up on the net and you'll find a ton of information on how to do it.

Trouble is after that you'll want a better main motor. Want not need cuz the standard walkera inrunner is fine but i bet after doing the tail and looking at whats available you'll be tempted by the aftermarket main motors.

anyway good luck with it and have fun

cya laters
