I've upgraded mine after a crash, but it'll be a while before I'm flying. Should have time to redo the setup next weekend, with the maiden probably the week after.

I'll let you know how it goes, v4 was always very lively during spool up, I'm hoping this is a little more stable on the ground.

That's what I was wondering. Im using 3.1 on my nitro and would like it to be more takeoff friendly but not sure if I want to load 5 yet.

Flying it in a 700N and a 600N. Very well behaved.

Got my first flight of the 600N with v5 today, it's a huge improvement over v4, I'd recommend this to anybody.

So much more stable on the ground, before you had to be very alert on spool up. With v5 the heli just sat rock steady the whole time. I could take off gently and watch it slowly lift off the skids, perfectly behaved even in a crosswind. It does exactly what you tell it to do, without any unexpected or unwanted behaviour.

Was fine in flight too, I dialed up the rotational rates a little but otherwise had no problems with the default settings. Upright and inverted funnels were fine, backwards funnels were a piece of cake. It handled loops of all kinds, upright, inverted, forwards and backwards, and piro flips were just plain fun :-D

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the 3GX on my 250, but on the 600N I see no reason to upgrade.
