Sorry to revive this somewhat old thread, but I couldn't resist. In the last 2 months:

1) Installed a brand new AR7200BX into my FBL Storm 450. Also, replaced its main rotor for a more modern one.

2) Bought a 2nd hand 6HV kit and brand new electronics. Bought a ton of spare parts for it, as well as a new canopy. Assembled it. Flown it twice. Tail servo failed, small crash. The spares were still in transit, so I bought a pair of 700-class tail blades from a friend, only to use them just one day. Bought a BEC and a new tail servo. And a lipo for the BEC from a LHS. All in one week. Some parts arrived, KBDD tail blades included. Now the 6HV is doing great!

3) Bought an Atom 500 and the 5.5 stretch kit plus electronics, still in transit.

4) I crashed my Trex 500 yesterday and stripped 2 servos, and I had only one servo's spare gear set. Ordered the other set from a LHS just to pay 4x the normal price. And I'm glad I found someone with the gear set readily available.

Crack addiction is a small thing compared to heli addiction!...
