Very windy day, this was one of my first flights with my new 500efl. I Like it!.

I was not taking to much risk as some of the 500PRO parts are not available yet.
Wife was doing the camera, shes not Spielberg, but did an ok job for her first time. I did not even know she was shooting it.. Watch in 720P fullscreen for best results..

My first video of my 500EFL Pro with the Tarot ZYX FBL unit. I'm flying the same Tarot ZYX settings in the 500 that I fly in my 250, that also has the Tarot ZYX. The cyclic servos are HobbyKing Mi servos and the tail servo is a Fitec FS9357D.

I was breaking in a new battery, so I had the telemetry voltage alarm set quite high, so this is the repeating beeps you hear during the flight.

It is running a 100% throttle curve on an 11T pinion. She is so smooth. This one is a must have.

Good job Chep!

You are very much in total control with your 500. Not a single hop even. I think you are already ready to take out that training gear and SLOWLY practice side to side hovering. Go back to tail in when you are loosing orientation.

Keep it up. Next thing you know...you are already doing forward flight.

Thanks a lot, W-D-Heli! I have to admit my hands were shaky. This is my first big bird. I've been flying a modded 120SR for a while and it has helped me a lot with my basic skills. I like to fly the 120 when it's windy outside. I have also spent a lot of hours on my Phoenix sim. It's definitely the best investment I've ever made. HF has been a great site - lots of knowledge and nice supportive people.

Hopefully my next video will show a FF flight!
