Inconsistent hover
Perhaps someone else has experienced this......
When hovering, the heli tends to drop (lose altitude) if I even so much as think about down cyclic. I try to gain altitude very slowly, and then when I want to stop my ascent, the heli drops. I don't fly with gorilla thumbs, and even just feathering the cyclic doesn't work. I know helis naturally loose and gain altitude, but I don't experience this with any of my other helis, from Blades (450X, 500X, to Skyartec, etc...) I've tried different setups for this bird and the Devo 7e. But to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Steve |

Thanks. I read that one. Found after I started this post. Another thread mentioned it might be the ESC. Others have had the same issue. I checked the collar and it's snug. I have an ESC on the way, so I'll give it a try. I just picked up a Master CP, so that will tide me over. It's a tank, can take a lot of abuse, but has very very crappy servos. I ordered metal gear servos.
