Wow, after watching Kyle fly the living heck out of that Logo 700 during the 3D Masters including bashing the gear and filing down those tail blades, it really shows off the shear strength and durability of the new Logo 700 XXtreme!!! Many torque driven tail heli's would of stripped the gears off.
Great design Mikado Luis

When do we get the titanium landing gear upgrade....? Apparently the stock set isn't strong enough...

Maybe they start naming like the old Hirobo Shuttle, it was plain Shuttle, the Z, ZX and ZXX. So plain Logo, then SE (I know it's a different thing...), then SX and in a couple of years the SXX! Now that last one does spell sex!!!

Yeah, but it's a toy helicopter, so I'll prolly have to politely decline the propositions it attracts. Don't go that way.

Maybe the propositions will be from women. If your single you don't have to decline anything. I saw a friend get a chicks number with the help of his helicopter. She was quite attractive too. Bring on the SXX model. Good conversation piece.
Maybe "SX" stand for "Small Xxtreme"

Logo 600 SX is coming!
http://www.readyheli.com/Mikado-Logo...t_p_40712.html http://shop.mikado-heli.de/LOGO-600-...&c=6442&p=6442 But in this picture, main rotor hub is black. On prototype, it was silver.

All the ones I recently saw at the 3D Masters were black. I'm going to go with the prediction the production versions will be black.

I guess it's not long before we can see the 700 there too.

I am considering the XG8 myself, but I am a bit torn between it and the XG11. Is there any reason why I should chose the XG11 over the XG8? The radio will only be used for helicopters. Thanks,

At the Dahlhouse event the raw aluminum hub was on the machine while the black version was displayed on the table. I asked Ralf which one would be the shipping version and he stated it would indeed be the black one.

Q: "What receiver...?"
The JR RG 831B (DMSS). XG8 or 11? The "8" has more capability as it is than you'll ever use with a helicopter. So going to the 11 (if all you'll ever use it for is helis), would mostly be because you like the way the transmitter feels in your hands...as they each have a different feel about them. (-: Dave |

@ Luisito,
Quote, "...including bashing the gear and filing down those tail blades... Quote, "Many torque driven tail heli's would of stripped the gears off." Well, I can't argue with the second quote, as we all know this to be true. Get the tail blades just a little in the grass, and some designs strip just at that. I've been personally present on more than one occasion (several over the years), where a sponsored pilot doing a demo, pushing the limits for the effect, gets the tail in the grass by getting just a little too low, and have to land from stripped tail gears. Tail drive systems have always been the Achilles Heel of many designs out there. Other than the ground-down tail blades (and the landing gear being beat off the heli), there was no damage to the tail gear drive system (or anything else on the heli for that matter...well except the main blades from the inverted scrapes), as a result of that victory flight. I've said it many times as I've discussed the XXtreme over the past year (first the 800, and now the 700). The main and tail drive systems are the toughest on the market. (-: Dave |

Does the Scorpion motor that Kyle is flying on his 700 using a standard shaft or is it an 8mm shaft? I'm definitely ordering the 700 when its available. I already have all the electronics but just curious on the motor. Luis

It's 8mm on the prototype, no word (of course) on production models. I asked Dave a while ago and he said that they have been cutting down the shafts for the L800 to use in the L700 motor. I wrote Innov8tive asking about it and they indicated that at some point scorp will be producing 8mm shafts of the correct length to fit the 4525 series. I assume that if they will be making the shafts that at some point they may sell motors with them installed, but that's a big assumption... not a lot of market for a motor with an 8mm shaft, at least not enough of one to have all of the vendors stock them. Maybe Innov8tive alone will sell the 8mm series, who knows... now I'm just spewing electrons.
