Default 8000 mah battery in Whiplash?

I am in the middle of a battery decision and see that Turnigy has an 8000 mah 6S battery that is 50mm wide. I measured mine and it has 53mm of clearance. Any opinions on this size battery in this heli? I've posted a picture below. Seems like a substantial flying time gain to go from 10,000 mah to 16,000.

The weight jumps from 850 grams to 1100, but there seems to be so much power that it seems like it would handle the weight. Any suggestions?

Its up to what you want to do with the heli.
If you're into cruising around and big air aerobatics at relatively low speed, then you,all do fine with the added weight. The hrli will have enough power anyway, and you'll increase run times. If you're into squeezing every bit of power then forget about it, and do well with 4-5 min of flying.
Either way' I haven't checked the dimensions.

The 8000 mah from the basic 5000mhb. battery will fit, and I expct time should in increase from 7 minutes to to an additional 60%. That take a 7 minute bettery to 10 minutes. Seems like I have to do this. Any ropes you can send to a man that's going to hang? (As hang in the air for 10 minutes feeling cocky).

Any updates on how the 8000 mAh did. I was looking at these and wondering how they work.

Where they offering to sale you that battery for $102.00

I would like to see some 8000mah packs that would fit in to some 700 class helicopters. That would be the only way I would buy a 700 class electric because I can't deal with a under 6 min flight time.

As I was working to get my 700EX setup for F3C I had to test headspeeds and work out getting to 8 minutes of flight.
with a Normal mode of 1600 RPM and an Idle Up of 1900 I could sustain 8 minutes of flight. 4 minutes hovering and 4 minutes of aerobatics. This was with 12S 5000mAh batteries.
Last fall flying my Whiplash on 6S 5000mAh batteries with a Scorpion 520 Ultimate I was getting 10 minutes of flight.
