Default Any fellow Baja 5B owners?

Just wondering if anyone who owns a baja wants to mention it. Seems that if we have a heli then if one of us is into cars we have the $$$ to throw at the best rc buggy ever! Long live the 5B!!

I've got one.

Originally an RTR, but it now has a 30.5 ESP race ported head kit with a stuffed stroker crank.

Also running a full light setup with a lighting controller I designed....

Sorry for the overexposed pictures, I snapped these with a camera phone I was using while waiting for my new Nikon D5000, I'll have to go take better pics at some point...

A chap at work was literally throwing out a 5b clone I think it is a king motor one. I took it off his hands for free, so I won't say anything about clones v real as I know nothing other than the clone, but it is a hell of a lot of fun.

I like the stand you have ^^^^^^ looks really useful, mine is so muddy it isn't allowed on the table in the garden let alone in the house !!

happy gassin

The only thing that is not good about getting a clone is the fact that all the parts made for the Hpi kinda dont work on the clone Baja versions out there, you literally have to take the new part and modify it to work on the clone parts why... Because they are copies and arent made exactly like the Hpi parts therefore when getting upgrade or hop ups for the Baja to fit the clone a lot of guys run into issues.. Either way at least you have a gasser to play around with they are tons of fun and I love the long run times.

I got a 5t back in May I love it. My introduction to the gasser engines. I thought they would be hard to tune but they are easy. My other cars get no love now.

I just ordered one. Still umming and arring over the Tx/Rx. One thing I wanted to ask was what size/capacity battery everyone is running for Rx/Servos. I was wondering how long a 2000mAH Ni-Cd pack I already have would last. There are a few options from 1400mAH to 5000mAH Ni-MH.
