tail shaft dimensions
Hello
Can anyone give me the dimensions of the align 550 tail shaft. Diam and length. Trying to see if it will fit another copter Thanks! |

I don't have a spare, but my micrometer says the one in my heli is 4.9mm in diameter (probably 5mm). As for length, it isn't easily measurable on the heli, but I'm guessing it's around 72mm in length plus or minus.

thanks!! 5mm is what i was hoping for. Could you give me a rough measurement of the total length between each blade grip bolt hole whenever you can also the OD of the boom (and note tt or belt version.

On a TT, the exact measurement of the total length between each tail blade grip bolt hole is 70mm.
The OD of the standard aluminum boom is 21.6 mm The OD on the upgraded CF wrapped aluminum boom is 21.49 mm
