Default Cleaning 120SR servos

Please watch the linked video first.
The difference between MCPX and 120SR servos is that MCPX servos are free standing.
120SR Servos are built into the main board,120SR servos are exactly the same inside.

I use a paper match dipped in electronic control cleaner.
Many guys are using DeoxIt with favorable results.

Please fallow these directions.

Remove main blades.
Remove Canopy.

Unplug motor, Red plug
Unplug tail rotor white plug. Don't worry about the white silicone.
Just scrape it off with your nail.

Remove tail boom

Use a magic marker to mark the push rod on the antenna side.
Make a good long mark you will be able to see later

Unsnap the both ball links from swash, remove push rods.

Remove the 2 screws from the black plastic cover and carefully remove the main board from the
Frame of the helicopter. Take care that the power cord does not catch.

Once the board is free of the frame separate the main board and black plastic cover.

You should now be holding only the main board.

If you have access to a pair of magnifying glasses. Put them on. Things get pretty tinny from this point forward.

Select a servo and note the 4 screws holding the servo to the main board.
Remove the 4 small screws. And carefully open servo cap.

Carefully clean the strips on the main board.
Then very very gently clean the fingers on the servo body section. Do not bend them!

Re assemble the servo and install the 4 screws.

Select servo 2 and note the 4 screws holding the servo to the main board.
Remove the 4 small screws. And carefully open servo cap.

Carefully clean the strips on the main board.
Then very very gently clean the fingers on the servo body section. Do not bend them!

Re assemble the servo and install the 4 screws.

Set the main board in the black plastic cover.
Carefully align the main board and cover up with the mounting pins on the frame.

Install the 2 black screws. Just snug!

Install the 2 push rods in the upper most hole on the servo arm, marked rod on the
antenna side and snap the ball links in place on the swash.

Note short or long swash balls.

The motor power cord goes bellow the canopy pin.

Install tail boom. power cord goes bellow the motor brace and behind the motor,
plug into white socket. Note white and white or Red and Red.

Install canopy
Install blades

Function and fly the helicopter.
