Most shops in this hobby are pretty small, and you'll find most websites have a notice indicating they won't be fulfilling orders during IRCHA.

Usually I get shipping notice same-day, and since I live very close, my items arrive in 24-48 hours

MSH is still selling new kits and with the recent 380 and Brain 2 releases my guess is that the replacement for the Protos 500 will not be sooner than one year from now. And with the number of P500's flying around I would expect to get parts for another 2 years after that. And who nows, maybe they bring out something completely different and keep the current P500 alive for even more time. There is not much competiton in this size (the Compass Exxo is a little bit bigger and really expensive) and the size itself is really great for a mid sized field.
