Default Tail blades for low headspeeds

Just curious if any of you have tried a few different tail blades and found something that works particularly well at low headspeeds. (stock TDR 1 )

I am flying mostly at about 1275 for my idle-1 headspeed and currently using Radix 690 mains and Radix 105 tails. This actually works fine about 90% of the time but in certain situations where the loads creep up a bit the tail loses authority.

I could just go buy any old 110mm tail blade but just want to see if there is a suggestion someone has tried or if anyone has done a tail blade 'shoot out' :-)

For example, I have found that even in a similar length you can have some that blow more air. I had more of a tail power issue on the Kasama Faifa which also originally had Radix 105s but was improved by switching to rail 106s due to the larger chord.

How about these?

KBDD 112mm (Plastic) on TDR at 900-1100 RPM.

Rail 110 the best for low rpm on TDR.

I find Rails 116mm the best!

But a three blade tail is even better IMHO. Big authority with no fear of tail strikes with long blades.

I cannot find KBDD 112s in the shops over here. I see them at the distributor, Climb Out, and even tried to buy some but there's no payment page :-o Not sure what that's about.

I found a spare set of NHP 110s that I have already so I might try those. I think there should be enough clearance for 115-116s though if needed.

Yeah that would be the ultimate solution, but not the cheapest :-) It would really help the Faifa because there is less clearance.
