By the way, I personally think that this heli is just about right stock, no need to mod, just need to be gentle with collective. Only thing I would like to try is 40C+ batteries Might be able to do tic tocs with these, but I am waiting till someone comes up with better packs which don't require any mod.

For me the best thing about this heli is no fear factor Awesome trainer.
The tail was fine both ways. maybe had to be a little more accurate, almost feathering the rudder stick to keep it in place on the CCw upright. I agree on stock. even an extra gram of weight on this thing and the 3D would be effected.

IMO about the only way to get it better would be using a higher constant amp output battery that was the same or less weight as tthe stock battery. more weight just makes it handle like crap, even with higher headspeed.

I tried a battery that had almost twice the constant power of the stock battery, but was 4 grams heavier. it had better headspeed and less bog, but was terrible at 3D. the tail would blow out when I pushed it like in the videos do to more mass. its fine just the way it is. need to take weight off or get a higher C batt at the same weight. those are the only options I see at this time.

Abusing my poor little mcp lol

But! two days ago my flips were horrendous. I am improving quickly... I can only hope the torture this little guy is going through will benefit my 450s like I hoped.

My newest videos.
They always seem to end the same way...
But just like Timex, it takes a licking but keeps on ticking!

Default Blade MCPx with onboard cam

sorry about the quality but this is my first test flight of the mini dv cam mounted on the mcpx.

it was far too windy, I wouldn't have tried flying my 450 in it but I had to try it with the mcpx !!
I hadn't set the date on the cam either...
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrPbxFi64OY[/ame]

I need to figure a way of mounting the cam vertically but the general quality isn't too bad considering the size of all the elements.

The next one will be done in fair weather.
amazingly the heli balances fine with the battery in backwards and with no canopy.

Cheers
Steve

Some flying post-workout (had to put off the shower til I got my fix, sun was going down and storm was coming in). Winds were 15mph with 25mph gusts according to weather.com, but the surrounding trees and the house helped cut down on that a bit.

Looks like she could fly if she wasn't in that small room.
Hope that experience did not turn her off. We need more cool and cute young ladies like her posting flight videos.
