Default GAUI My First 330X-S QUAD Flyer Kit

I've never flown or tried or even built one of these, since i saw a kit, but i've been seeing lots of guys play around with them and fly them. Would be a cool new part of the hobby to get into.

thoughts ?

I don't know much about them or what to ask about them.. I do have a Dx7s radio with a spare ar7000 receiver with spare satellite. I know this GAUI 330X-S QUAD Flyer Kit comes with motors base arms esc is there much more i need like batt etc etc ?

OR is there better out there ? Id like something big, bigger for me is better to see i'm not looking to mount a huge camera on it to do photography, but a small one would be cool.

please don't pounce on me, just looking for research type media and questions and answers..

This forum seems a little quiet, but i've been hovering here for a while (no pun intended).

I'm much like you in that I want to broaden my interests in this hobby. I'm just finishing a trex 500 build with HC 3sx onboard.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a deal on fastlads uk website for a 330x -s which was about half the price of the other uk vendors, so I bought it.

It's still in the box but will be built after I've totally finished my trex. I'm probably going to get a go pro hero 3 camera and a gaui one way camera gimble. I'll also get a basic fpv setup to that I can do line of sight photo framing on a remote monitor. I dont think i'm ready for the big distances just yet. I;m seriously tempted by the fatshark fpv goggles but I want to line of sight for the time being.

Anyway, your post looked a bit quiet so I thought i'd drop a line.

Best of luck
