Default please help! confused.

was replaceing the spindle shaft on my gaui x2. when i got everything out i noticed there is a difference between the spacers shown in the manual and the ones that were in the pre-built head. the manua shows the use of two rubber o ring dampeners followed by two w3.1x4.6x1 spacers. but my head only had one of those apacers in itfollowed by some other little thinner silver spacer. i can not find reference to this thinner spacer anywhere in the manual. my kit did come with the two extra larger spacers sealed in the corner of one of the plastic bags. i am curious if anyone can tel me why the pre-built head diferes from the manual. and now that im changing spindle shaft, should i go by the manual with both of those equal sized spacers or rebuild the way it was originally with the one larger and one thinner silver spacer. what is the difference? new to helis so any help would be great. i can not seem to find any reference to this anywhere. confused, please help!

Well my manual (V1.0.4) agrees with your manual. However mine came with a small sheet, which I assume is an update, for just the 'Rotor Blade Clamp Assembly' step. And on that it does show the two o-rings, then W3.1 x 4.6 x 1, and lastly W3.1 x 4.6 x 0.6. I haven't taken mine apart so i don't know which way it's built. Again, the leaflet I have pretty much has to be an update--unless it's some sort of option maybe? I wish they'd just explain stuff properly... Manual 1.0.4 is still the latest on the Gaui site, btw.

I bet it's a question of how stiff you want the head to be. smaller washer will make the head loose and wider one will make it stiffer. On mine I have tried to make the head stiffer and for that I have used 90 hardness O-rings from the gaui 200, but they just use very fast.
At the moment I use the wider dampers from T-rex 250. They are wider than the housing and come out a bit, that make the assembly nice and stiff. I'm very happy about the result.
