If you live in Australia, they are not nearly as high as the US shops like Readyheli and HeliDirect.

I recently ordered from all 3 (plus the Atom 500 & parts from Alien-RC);

Alien-RC - Atom 500 kit + a big box of parts 5.6kg postage (airmail) = $51.80
HobbyCity / Hobbyking - 4x 6s lipos just under 2.5kg postage (EMS) = $39.57
Readyheli - ESC & USB cable under 0.5kg postage (standard USPS) = $20.62
HeliDirect - blades and small parts just over 1kg postage (standard USPS) = $52.55

The lipos got here in half the time of the US stuff (as they should being EMS), but weight wise the US shops are at least double the price of the Asian shops. As you can see, the HeliDirect order (about $250 & ± 1kg) was more costly to post than the $900 & nearly 6kg order from Alien, with HobbyCity coming in between. For better comparision, the standard post for the lipos from HC would have been $27.

And I have never seen (or heard of) coupons from HC.

600NSP combo shipped EMS $74. Got it in 3 days. Well worth the cost.

As fast as I get stuff from them and it still averages out less than half the cost of most other shops,it's all good. When I'm in no big hurry the regular airmail shipping rocks. I still usually have those parts in hand within 10 days of ordering , EMS 3 days !

I've got a few coupons from placing feedback for a item. Only a few bucks but it's still a few bucks saved

yeah , so I understand the only way for getting a coupon from there is by posting reviews...

If i'm not in a hurry , is it safe to use the regular (and not registered) mail?

and andy01 , my problem is that I know that the asian postage rate are very low... I'm used to free shipping all the time when I buy stuff from Dealextreme or from HongKong sellers on eBay... thats y 12.5$USD for lipo and main blades is expensive for me...

Check www.flying-hobby.com I order from them quite a bit as the shipping is cheaper and I usually have my order, Hong Kong to LA, in tree days.

Try finding locals and combining orders. A guy at my field just did that and I got four 3S packs, a tail servo, a charge lead for charging two 3S packs in series and ten EC3 male/female pairs for $15 shipping. (My portion of the EMS charges.) It arrived in one week and I paid about half what ground shipping would have cost had I ordered myself.

yes the postage is atleast 3 times that of local services in the UK, shipping is dirt cheap over here, but i got stuff worth £200 at local prices for £80 including shipping and it will hopefully turn up more or less in the same time.

I have never owned an ALign lipo, but from what others have said, avoid the 3s at all costs - there are much better lipos out there (like the HC lipos).

Try looking for Finless Bob's video on balancing main blades - he shows very clearly how to do it properly.
