Talking OK your wish is my Command

Wow this is good work on these birds I especially like the Curtiss Vibe excellent job toysu . This is exactly what we need more colours and helis. I'm currently working on a pure Helifreak design available soon

OK especially for gregwee and those guys who are a bit frightened to experiment with a hex editor I've done all the work for you you can download the corrected BMP files here. They are for you to use as a template to create your own colour schemes and customise your birds. I know for sure Phoenix are creating a paint program for us to use in the future so I cant really see there being a problem doing this however if they want me to pull the plug on this I apologise in advance and will do it without hesitation I don't want to step on anyones toes.
You can get them Here
Note this is a big file approx 24Mb in size

I'm trying to sort a method of install so we can have a few designs of each without having to overwrite the original files. I will keep you posted.

Cheers
Glenn

Hi Devin
This is the file name "PhoenixRC_resources_objects_aircraft_helicopters_ Performance_trex600nitro_red"
I also tried the pink Trex 450 and that didnt work either.
What I did was extract the zip file to the Phoenix Trex 600 location, then remove the stock Trex BMP and preview file.
It didnt work with the stock Phoenix file left in as well anyway.

File should have slashes not underscores. When you extract the files click browse and navigate to c drive, program files, phoenix, resources, objects, and so forth. Your basically not extracting to the correct file. I do believe this is the problem. good luck, hope it works.

Talking

This very similar to the game from Taldren star trek starfleet command
We used to mod ships much in the same way, Maybe I can fly a starship for giggles
I will look into further mod tools but looks promising keep you up to date when I know more

One thing I did notice is that a 512X512 BMP file works too

Hey I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.0... does this program have a fill option? In MSPaint you have a lil paint bucket, but I can't find anything similar.
