No I don't fly that strict of a routine... I am quite able to feel the difference between the blades, I notice speed of cyclic, and collective pop. My guess is the slower blades will burn more mAH to get the same results, but that is a guess, I'll have to pay more attention to the mAH return.

Sonix vs. Radix?
So can anyone tell me how the Sonix blades compare to Radix? I have been flying radix blades for quite a while now and I love them.(Love their cosmetic flaw sales too). I got tired of trying cheap chinees blades and being dis-appointed. From the sound of you guys the sonix are a step or 3 above the cheap Chinese blades. So how do they really compare to real top quality blades?

I prefer the Sonic blades over the Radix. And Radix never survive a crash, the Sonic its a 50-50.

Another note these two blades were only .6g different in weight, that is much closer than say a pair of Thunder Power survivor blades I have that are 5 full grams different, unusable in my book! I still say the Sonix blades are the best blade value, and are great flying blades to boot! But this comparison has to encompass other aspects of blades, other than their value! Radix are not my favorite either, and I'm finding some blades are better on different heads, and a different head speeds too!

What i have found is that the Sonic blades fly much lighter and quicker. The Radix blades are crisper and track better, but if i wanted this type of performance i would go with an Align blade. I personally think the Sonic blades take more skill to fly but are capable of more with the right pilot.

Strongest blades
Well I just have to say, the sonix blades have got to take the cake for durability.
I have a set on the heli now that between the two blades they have seen 6 crashes. The set is two survivor blades from other sets, they were very close in balance and weight, so I put a piece of yellow tape to get them spot on. Now I have another 40 flights and 2 crashes on them since pairing them up! I posted this video in the video thread too, but I just had a great day of flying, and want to show the blades in action!

I have a set of all the blades being tested. The problem is...I'm not good enough to properly evaluate any of them, so this info is pricless.
What I did notice just by looking is that my SAB Red devils and the Pro 3D's have a simular airfoil (quite a bit different than most). So I'm wondering if the flight characteristics are simular between the two. Now, it seems there's a new player I'm very curious about from Heli Direct. http://www.helidirect.com/stealth-ca...is-p-17154.hdx If you can ever get them when they are in stock.

Right - I've been wondering about those STEALTHs also - do they not look like the Pro 3Ds minus the paint??? I think they might be - because the Pro 3Ds have gotten a little bit of criticism...

I was looking at them myself... I like the look of the Edge blades too, I'll need to get a set of both to add to the list!

Wouldn't it be a good idea of performing an effiency test to see how much amps each set of blades draws during for example a hover at 3 feet above ground level?Would be interesting to see how the different airfoils use the amps you feed them.
