Default 450L on 3gx nosing over on its own???

Have a 450L with 3gx it has flown great the first 10-15 flights. Last week I noticed it was nosing over on its own as if your were giving it down elevator just ever so slightly. Today I noticed it getting worse and that it only did it in idle up which is around 3500 rpm. Got the bright idea of going to idle 2 and it just nosed in. The blades are balanced tail feels very smooth and the 3gx is mounted on two pieces of gray 3m tape. I'm sure it's a vibration thing but have no earthly idea where to look since all feels fine. It's for sure not a radio issue and the heli has never struck the ground or landed hard till today, lol! I've heard the 3gx is super sensitive to vibes so I'm thinking of putting a beastx I have laying around on it. Any suggestions?

I'm going out on a limb here, and suspecting that you are using a Spektrum radio. If so, this may sound a bit odd, but re-bind your radio (remembering to set your failsafe throttle position).

Also, what are you using for power to the 3GX unit, and how is it hooked up?

The 3GX isn't super sensitive to vibrations, the two layers of 3M gray tape should be fine.

I assume your gain control pots on top are at the default 12 o'clock position. These control elevator and aileron gain. If the heli oscillates after command inputs, turn them down a bit till that stops.

Make certain you have adequate power for the 3GX. The ESC and its BEC in the Dominator kit should be up to the task unless you've change to different, more power hungry servos.

The rebinding thing may sound like voodoo, but give it a try. The 3GX may want to see some stable signals out of your receiver while the TX and RX are linking up when you turn them on.

My 250 did the same one day, and I never did like how it flew with the 3GX. In the end I put a Spartan VX1e on it and its flying great now.

Ironically my 600N flies just fine with the 3GX.
