RG712BX antenna
Hi,
Due to the crash of one of my helis the receiver antennas were cut-off from the receiver box. Can they be replaced, or the receiver is now unusable? If it can be replaced, is it easy to replace? Is there any instruction for replacement? Thanks for any hints.

LaDon, thanks for your hint. But I am in Europe.
I saw that there is replacement for the antenna wires, i.e. part no. 92007. Now I wonder how to replace it. Hopefully there is kind of instructions for that.

It is easy just take the end of the case off and there are two spots for them. There is a little glue holding it on just peal it off and snap another in place and a little dab of hot glue and put it back in the case. I would just range test it good

LaDon,
Looked up that part number and description and could not find a replacement antenna wire 92007 on either the JR Americas or JR Propo site. I had a similar occurrence late last year and they replaced the whole receiver.

Don,
Indeed. I also noticed that when I was searching at JR Americas n JR Propo Japan. RC Japan does not have it either. Rather unusual. But they have it at Macgregor (JR UK representative).

If it uses the usual U.FL connector you can use a Futaba replacement OR use the original JR antenna without the "folded dipole" part.

Hi everyone. My question does not relate to the broken antenna right now (although I have an rx with a wire snapped clear from the tiny brass connector, which I reconnected off course) . It's regarding the effectiveness of the range. Guys having goblins know that there are small antenna holding posts on both sides of the boom where it attaches to the frame. Is the position of those antenna posts good or is questionable due to violating the law of L and staying away from the carbon parts?

I guess I have not looked at the goblins setup that close. I will see some next weekend I will have to look. But even tho as long as the ends are in the open you should be ok. If they are against the carbon I would do something different. They are long enough a guy should be able to keep them out in the open

I know a few Goblin Pilots and they do not have connection issues using the boom antennae holders.
