Mate, it's been blowing 20+kts here for the last 3 week at least.
Normally it calms down around 16/1700 giving me an hour or so before it gets dark, but lately the wind has been blowing it's guts out through the night.
Not impressed.

Today and tomorrow is going to be a wash. High winds and heavy rains. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend.

Hurrray! Snow is here good moisture! Now instead of complaining that we're sweating like pigs, we can complain that we're freezing our asses off!

But hey, this is good moisture so we can use it! Now, where did I put those skis I had for my helicopters?

Crapy weather is why I bought my blade. Ya, its a fp heli, but its cheap, holds up in a crash well, and gives the dog some exitement as she likes to watch it fly around.

As severe as the drought is here in Texas I won't complain a bit to loose some flying to Mother Nature's whims!

It's gonna be in the 80's here in parts of New England, usually this time of year it gets kinda cold and I'm ready to pack it up for the year. At least I will be able to use up the rest of my fuel and start to consider changing over to all electric for next year.

Perfect day for flying today.. But yesterday I managed to toast 2 servos and replacements are 2-3 days away. No flying for me. Oh well I ordered 7 servos so they should last a while.

Last weekend was super windy in SE Michigan but I tried to fly my Pantera anyway. Made it through half a tank but darn near soiled my undies with the 25 to 30 mph gusts. This weekend's weather is perfect but a little hazy. I got 3 packs in on my 450, hoping to get a couple of flights on my Pantera today.

For the last week we have had beautiful weather, 70's to low 80's, winds no more than 10 mph (though sometimes a little gusty). This is supposed to continue until probably Wednesday. I've put everything else aside and been at the field everyday. I know this will not last long.
