I've been thinking about converting one of my helis to FBL this year. Looks like my 500 may get the makeover.

Felt.. I just finished mine. The mini-V was SO easy to get on and setup.. and I sold my gyro and reciever so the net cost was only around $325.

Sly,

How you like those 3d blades on FBL?

I had some issues with them, just couldn't get them to feel right, ended up going to a different brand.

I've always really liked them. Now that its flybarless.. I might not.. we will see! But.. I went through 6 sets last summer... and at $21 a pop that sure saved me a lot of money.

Love them on my FB Protos, hate them on the FBL Protos.

Yea, I noticed it too. I'm not sure which FBL system to go with at this point. But atleast, we the consumer, benefit from the competition.
