Align stuff is available via Sear's "Marketplace".... Not really Sears per se... kinda like their own version of Amazon I guess...

I've noticed a lot of different things being brokered through Sears.com lately. If you'll notice, all of the Align products are from different sellers and none of it is actually stocked by Sears.

I guess they want in on some of the market of online brokering that Amazon has been dominating. Pretty smart of them.

Wow! I'm surprised they didn't rebrand them as "Kenmore Helicopters". DS650 for $143.36. For that price it should dispense water and crushed ice.

The first thing I noticed was their prices!

No wonder they are going under.

Sears has been circling the bowl since they changed their pricing model from running regular specials that were a significant discount off of normal retail items, to dropping the price on everything about 10% and discontinuing specials. They did this about 25 years ago. Prior to that, they actually carried decent products too. Craftsman is now a shade of what it used to be.

Sounds like they still think the Sears name is worth something.

I stopped shopping at sears years ago when they started harassing me at home after I was forced to give them my phone number and address to buy something.

Newegg drop ships, they don't ship anything as far as I know. They have been branching out beyond computer stuff for awhile now. That stuff is shipped by HeliProz.

The bigger problem is, they will sell the over priced heli stuff to people who have no clue (we know they are clueless because they bought it at Sears and actually paid that price), and then they'll be showing-up in all kinds of unsuitable locations, trying to fly it, and causing nothing but problems for the modeling community.

I am starting to see this at my local park. I saw a guy learning to hover with trainers in the parking lot of a park which had plenty of cars and people around.
