Talking Can't believe I've been hanging around here for a year....

I just noticed, today, that I joined up a year ago, on this date. I would just like to thank everyone here for all the help over the year and hope I have helped a few out in return.I would especially like to tip my hat to Will and everyone who keep this great site up and running and for a place where we all help out each other, learn and become friends. I have learned so much and met alot of good people over the last year and plan on hanging around for many more years to come, unless I get banned!

HeliFreak.com rocks!

P.S. I know this will get moved but I'll take it for what is worth! I have been around here for a year and know how things work.

Craig

Your post just prompted me to look and realize its been 14 months for me...I've learned alot, made myself broke, and still fly just as bad as when I started.....but I did learn to hold off crying until I'm in the basement alone after a day of "flying".....
This place has really been a huge help, honestly, and have met great people.
Thanks Will!!!!

Darn, signed on here for the first time almost 6 years ago. Can't believe it's been that long ago.

Right there with ya! I signed up a year ago last month myself. I know for a fact I would be nowhere near where I am knowledge-wise without HF.

This is my fourth forum as a member and I can honestly say this one clobbers the rest!

Being a new member of the yearling club myself, let me welcome you Craig!

Same here lol. Started early Dec last year so a little over one for me. The learning curve probably would have included a few more meetings with the ground if I didn't have helifreak for tips and FB head setup. The best part is all the information that goes back and forth. I've helped some folks with projects or info and in return I've learned a lot; a good bit of which has ended up being used in some of our labs robots. (Wiring tips, mechanical tricks, etc.)

My one year anniversary is coming up next month...

About this time last year a friend of mine got a little $20 3 channel heli from Amazon and I thought..... hmmmmmmmm I wonder if the bigger electrics helis have made any progress in the last 6 or so years since I looked at RC's.

And WOW, they really had!!! I started slowly, but about 3 months later the hook was set and that's all she wrote.

I just want to add to this thread too that for those that may not know him, Craig is defiantly one of the good guys.

For those that don't know, I made a post on the 450 Pro section a few months back about how I was changing over my 450 SE V2 to a Pro and making it FBL with a BeastX and that I had gotten the FBL head alone and that while I could buy the main alignment setup level tool that goes on top of the head, I could not find for sale the little bar that goes in it unless I bought the whole 3G kit.

Well NCcraig who I never met or think I have even ever had a post with stepped in and offered to give me his as he said he didn't need it anymore and as well despite my best efforts, did so with refusing to take any money from me for the part or even the shipping.

Sent it to me in about two days after I gave him my address.

So as far as I am concerned he defiantly is a welcome member to the community and gets a major two thumbs up from me for being a great guy.

All the best Craig.

Funny how we take for granted all the knowledge and help provided by this site. One year in the hobby, two helis built, flips, rolls and inverted hovering. Thanks Will and gang!
