Help Belt-CP... new receiver--heli shakes like crazy
Hey guys,
I'm trying to get my Belt-CP up in the air now. I installed a new receiver to be able to use it with my JR 9303 so I think it's looking good. The problem I have is that as I give more throttle, the heli starts to shake.... exorcist style.... I hold the heli down but I'm afraid to let go since the shacking doesn't get any better. Any ideas of what I should look for with this kind of problem? I'm at work right now and I hope to get some imput from you so that when I get home, I can go and check for specific things. Thanks guys!

Loosen up the grips a tad and balance your main blades.

Thanks, those areas of the heli were fine. I checked them just in case.
Not long ago I assembled a TREX500 using Bob's videos. I thought I would be able to easily identify the problems with the Belt-CP but this is a different beast. I tried to go over the Belt-CP manual and it didn't really explain much of how to assemble the Belt-CP but it was showing my size for the links and mine were WAY off. A guy at my LHS made some adjustments a few months ago when he was trying to fly it. He said something about the heli pulling to one side. He must have made those crazy adjustments to try to make the heli to compensate. Anyway, I re-adjusted the links to meet what I was able to find on the manual and it doesn't vibrate like crazy anymore.... just a tad but that might be normal while increasing power. Now I just have to wait until the weather gets better and try to fly it outside. Thanks again!
