Whats best for Brain gov HW or ice?
I have both an ice2 80hv and hw70hv. I don't have a programming box for the HW. I bought a Hyperion rpm sensor.
What should I install for the Brain gov? |

Personally I would use the Castle with a Hobbywing sensor. Beta 4.01 in multi-rotor mode works wonderfully. I also run the alpha release with true ext gov support and it has a wonderful soft start to boot. Same performance as running multi-rotor though which is excellent. Then you get the robust logging features and overall it's a great package.

You are correct. To use the Castle you need to buy a $3 Hobbywing sensor. Castle also has a new sensor coming to market soon which should be another nice option.

Actually, I just checked my order and bought an Eagletree sensor. Hobbywing sensors are out of stock.
Does anyone know where to get a Hobbywing sensor that is not on the west coast? This is the only one I can find one (Hobbywing of North America) and it is in CA. (I live in IL). Helidirect is sold out, and Readyheli, Amain, Nankin, Heliproz, and ExperienceRc don't carry them . |
