Default Quark with MKS8910 problem

Hi all,
I reported a problem with my ds760, meanwhile, i bought a new quark to use with my brand new mks8910.
I got the new quark today and tried to mount the tail servo.
I set the quark to 760usec pulse, 2 purple blinks.
Then i connected the servo and ... nothing, it seems to be dead, before i send it back to HK, is there something i am missing ? the servo doesn't seem to respond to the rudder channel.
Thanks

Try another servo with it or try another gyro with that servo. Either way you eliminate one or the other as the problem.

Plug the servo directly into the rx rudder channel to confirm it works fine.

It doesn't ... but i already heard people saying it will not work while directly connected to the receiver, anyone can confirm that ?

As it is a 760uSec servo and rx's are 1520uSec, not sure about the compatibility there. The only thing you can do to isolate the problem is to try a different (any 1520) servo with the quark to at least verify the gyro is working.

Problem solved!
I had a futaba 9257 to test the gyro, i configured the gyro to one blink (1520usec) and the gyro worked. Then i tried to go back to two blinks (760usec) and connected the mks8910 again and it worked ! i guess it's something with the contacts between the gyro and servo because i am sure i configured it correctly the first time.
anyway ... i am glad i don't have to deal with the RMA now.
thank you all !

I suggest a good deal of cable/connector wobbling and tugging on the bench before you risk flying is you suspect a connection issue! You may have a fracture in the servo cable, most likely at one end or the other.
