I purchased this heli brand new in July of 2010. I had a botched auto that broke the frames one month after I owned it so I replaced the two side frames and bottom with these (http://helidirect.com/trex-550e-frp-...cs-p-20884.hdx) they have worked great and I fly hard 3d with no issues. I’ve flown helis since 2005 so rest assure this has been built and maintained correctly (i.e. correct size screws, loctite where needed, nothing needs replacing or is stripped. I literally bought the MX motor 9 days ago and it’s seen 3 flights since I’ve had it. The original 600M motor still works but I was able to get a mx for a really good deal so I bought it. I do use an Align regulator with a 2s to supply power to the RX instead of using the esc’s bec. The 2s is an Align 1900 40c battery and it is included. Bind this up to your JR or Spektrum radio and go have fun flying. On a last note one blade has a very small nick on the corner tip (this does not affect performance at all and it’s not a safety hazard which is why I never replaced it. The 2 Voltz packs have puffed just slightly but balance fine and the resistance is fine, I wanted to make sure I mentioned everything. I have 100% positive feedback on this site and on ebay with the same screen name. I want the buyer to feel 120% comfortable with this purchase so please don’t hesitate to ask question. I am not going to part out anything so please don’t ask you will not get a response. The only reason I am selling this is because I want to try another brand of heli besides Align and I can’t buy a new heli until this one is sold. Thanks for looking. First $795 shipped takes it.
