Back orders on hobbyking?

Just wondering what people's experence is when ordering a back-order product (like nano-tech batteries), How long roughly would it take to get here if I place an order and they are back ordered?.. also wondering, if i order say 12 back ordered batteries but ordered 2 other things that are in stock, do they hold up the whole order or do they send it as it is available?

The entire order is held.

The back order may take an extra day, an extra month, an extra two months.....A back order with Hobby King is "like a box of chocolates, you never know what....."

I have cursed over being dumb enough to order a back ordered item with other items, then cursed some more, then swore I'd never be so stupid again....I can do a lot of cursing in a month or two. Why, why? Why was I ever such a cheap bastard as to try to save a buck combining postage on back ordered items with other items?

Said as your build sits, and sits, and sits some more. And the seasons change. And change again, and still the back ordered item holds the rest hostage.

And finally, you give in and cancel the back ordered item to get the hostages released.

in my case I wanna stock up on some batteries, 160nano's and 300's for my msrx and mcpx. The 160's are outta stock, I wonder how long before they get more, any idea?

I'd have no issue with ordering a stock of 160 mah back ordered batteries. Just don't combine the order with anything you might want in less than 3 months. In the situation of 160 mah batteries i will guess the wait would be days to weeks.

If this is for the mcpx cancel the nanotechs and get some hyperions they're $6 but you will get it weeks quicker and the hyperions will make up for the price difference in longevity compared to the nanos.
