Default I can't get symetrical +/- pitch

Hi,

I'm finalising the setup of my Spectra-G and i cant get a symetrical positive and negative pitch range.

No matter what i try i always get 1-2 degrees more positive pitch than i do negative. That's for both collective and cyclic.

I've started with the servo arms at 90 deg and all bell cranks are level.

My swash is perfectly straight with zero interaction (using the MA swash tool).

All links from bellcranks to swash and above are set as per the manual.

Any ideas

Radio is a JR 9XII (Same as 9303).

Servos are JR DS8311 all round.

Amount of pitch is dependent on the Swash AFR setting. At the moment i have +11/-10 on collective with 0 deg at mid stick.

My big concern is the cyclic. I have +7/-6 so i'm wondering what effect this will have.

adjust the length of the long rods from the swash to the mixers. that will alter the
centerpoint w/o changing the overall range. make sure the very short rods to the
grips are exactly the same length.

Ok, thanks z11355,

Once i've adjusted those rods to get the travel symetrical, what links do i adjust if the pitch at mid stick is not at zero deg.

Do i adjust the length of the bellcrank-swash rods to move the entire swash up or down, or do i adjust the short rods?

Also, what effect do the washout to flybar links have. I assume i need to adjust those to get the washout arms level at mid stick.

Yes adjust these rods to get the swash positioned where needed. Then adjust the rods to the bell mixer to get 0 stick and the bell mixer level at 50% travel ( mid stick).
