Hi mightymouse,

this body is a new scale kit from Vario Helicopters. Only the tanks on the left and right side are selfmade.

Here is a few video from the first flight. The vbar setup in this flight is not final, the tail rotor is complex to controllable. (and a litle to fast)

Erstflug CH53 (9 min 31 sec)

I am very pleased to hear that if you have nice memories from this heli.

That is the smaller Vario BO-105 fuselage with the Vario extreme mechanics converted to electric running 12S lipos. It is a crowd pleaser.

Here is a picture of mine, it is a scratch build fuselage of a CH-149 Cormorant at a scale of 1:10 with a Vario Benzin for the mechanic, for a total weight of 29 pounds.

Picture was taken by SHOT ON SITE Copyrights ©2010

Mars:
That's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I had a look at your site and seeing the various stages of plug and mold design and fabrication was extremely educational.
Thanks for sharing, Cletus
