I've friends who fly kbars using DX18 and also DX9 without any issues.

this might be a mikado and dx18 problem good for us mikado techs to know.

no other tx has this issue with the vbar ?

The OP has already confirmed that his radio was never updated; It was still on version 1 whilst the most updated is on version 1.10. He also confirmed that the issue was resolved.
