Hi guys.

I'm thinking about buying an HC-3SX but I have read that if your firmware version is V112 you have to ship the unit to Captron for the upgrade. Can't this be done by software at home? Do the modify the hardware as well when you ship the unit?

Don't want to buy and outdated version and find out that I have to ship the unit to get it updated.

You have to send it back to Germany as they change the hardware as well. It's easy to recognise. Just look at the metal box where you have the HC3-SX and there should be sticker with 113 on it. Now you know it's the very new version.

BTW it works just great
