Default Blown FET?

Does it look like this is a bad FET? I can't figure out why the tail won't hold on my V2. No matter what I do I can get it to hold like my V1. It's actually almost un-flyable. I've tried transmitter adjustment, new tail, extended boom. Also I noticed that it doesn't have any where near the amount of power that the V1 has either. Any thoughts?

Default Hi

Just for kicks. Look at the tail rotor blades. You will see one side has a very definite X
Across the blades, the other side No X. The X side must go towards the boom or it will not hold the tail.

Da sorry I was just down on the 120SR forum.

I don't have it with me at the moment but I know I put it on with the little "nub" towards the motor.

I just bought a V1 that wad a blown tail FET. The tail would spin at full power when the battery was pluged in. I don't think your problem is with the FET.

Too much pitch can cause the tail to blow out super easy, if you have a programmable TX turn the travel adjust down till you can pitch pump it with out blow out.

A bad motor can cause the same thing, it will take too many amps and rob power from the tail motor.

A bad tail motor can also cause the same symptom because it requires more power than what it should.

I had the same problem on mine. Except I had not had any battery packs through it. The tail motor was bad from the factory. I changed it out and it has been trouble free since. Hope this helps!

Check your pitch,go with zero at half stick. I have only had tail blow outs if I punched the pitch and the battery was going low.

make sure that the battery lead is in good condition. If you bend the lead a lot or crash, strands can break within the cable, creating a bottleneck which leaves it with less power.

I think the main motor is bad because it's very "gutless". I turned the pitch down to the point where it barely comes off the ground and it still bogs down

Worth trying a new motor then, even if that's not the problem you will eventually need a new motor any way, and changing it will at the very least eliminate that as a cause.
