Default Trying to switch to 9T, screws too tight - help

Hi all, I have an issue here, I can't remove the screws that fasten the motor to the motor mount, so I can't change my stock 10T to a 9T.

Any ideas on how I can get these screws removed? I am assuming the locktite is really keeping these screws in place. Or the screws were just fastened too much.

Touch the tip of a hot soldering iron to the screws for a couple of seconds. The heat will loosen the loctite and you can remove the screws.

The heat won't harm the motor will it?

This thread covers the same issues.
https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=81028

I have just replaced the aluminium motor mount, as you get all the bolts with it (note to self - do not over-tighten!).

I followed the advice in the above thread, and used a dremel to cut a deep slot in the head of the rounded bolt on the mount, then used a large flat head screwdriver to carefully remove it.

Hope this helps...

ps. don't forget to change over the pinion... I nearly did
