Hello,

I've heard the Hitec HS-65HB are not a direct fit on the cyclic and that they need to be moded. What kind of mod did you have to do the make them fit?

Thx

Its a really ease mod. The 65HB's are a little bit to big to fit the servo brackets. So all you need to do is take a little off of both sides of the bracket so you can slide servo in.

My heli's newly built - it's only had about a dozen or so test flights/hovers around the house and has flown just great. Weather & work are the only things keeping us from the field ...

Mini Titan V1 - All plastic
HobbyWing Platinum 40A ESC with 3A switching BEC (awesome very slow start)
Exceed RC Alpha 400 3500 Kv motor (13T)
HobbyKing 6Ch DSM2 Rx
Futaba GY401
Hitec HSG-5084MG tail servo
Hitec HS-55 cyclic servos
Metal canopy mounts
Align wood main blades (some carbons ready to go too)
KBDD orange tail blades
Spectrum DX6i Tx
8x 1800-2200 20C-30C HobbyKing Lipos
2x Accucell-6 Chargers
Colored electrical tape on canopy & paddles
Custom LED Navigation Lights (work in progress)

Did I mention how great the V1 frame is? I mean it's got all of these openings, protrusions, hooks, slots, etc. all over the place. Gives you tons of options for wiring a heli and hanging other stuff on as well. That's all gone in the V2 isn't it ... ?

If you want the links to be perfectly straight you will need to "shim them out a bit"

I got my new ProLine Assault canopy and KBDD paddles and tail rotor blades installed today. Added a few decals I had in the sticker bag and it looks pretty good. I also ordered 2 sets of generic CF blades off e-Bay for $18 shipped. Here's a pic of the blades:

I'll get pics of it up when the blades come in.

Love these Mini Titans!!!!

Mini Titan e325 Pro

Metal Head block - only real must have upgrade
Metal D-joint on tail - eliminated slop from plastic one wearing
KBDD 59mm tail blades - good visibility, work well, want to try 61mm Pro
KBDD Flybar paddles (front hole) - These rock! more agile AND more stable
Scorpion -10, 14t 3s - very efficient and quiet, 4s coming shortly after packs die
Maverikk 325mm G5 Pro VST - best blades so far, smooth, good pop and sound
Hs-65HBs on cyclic - nothing fancy, they get the job done
JR 3500G on tail - great servo, very fast, good center, worked well on my Protos
GY401 gyro - trickle down from Raptor but it will get job done til FBL
Futaba 8FG/7ch tx - Best value radio out there
Gorilla Gear - indestructible and high visibility
Align 35X ESC - work horse, will need SBEC for 4s tho and demanding servos
Blue Lipo 2200 3s - can't beat the price, don't hold voltage well after awhile but balance
Canomod Canopy - great color scheme, some trimming to fit but very nice

This is my best setup so far, a great flying machine. Smooth, quiet, very stable for a 450, flies like a much bigger bird, similar to my Raptor but sharper and quicker if desired.

I just had to do a "budget" build on a heli this spring, so I purchased the kit on the forums here(assembled but never flown) and salvaged most of the parts on my Mini Titan from another heli and my parts box. Will be upgrading some things on it as I go.. Especially the ESC since I'd prefer to run a governed headspeed.

Mini Titan V2

ZYX flybarless Controller
Mini Titan Flybarless Head
Scorpion 2221-6 3595kv motor
Eflite 35A ESC ungoverned(until the HK Helidrive 45A comes off backorder)
Hitec HSG-5084MG on rudder
Hitec HS-5065MG on cyclic
Pro 3d CF blades
Stock Tail Blades
Gens Ace 2200Mah 3s 25c
EC3 connectors
Spektrum AR6115E receiver
Spektrum Dx6i
Beam Tail Control Rod
